Ben DiBlasi is an associate with The Cook Group’s Chicago office. His practice focuses primarily on product liability and toxic tort litigation by defending claims on behalf of manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors. He works on all aspects of litigation from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, and motion practice.

Ben earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2018 while attending on a Dean’s Scholarship. Prior to that, he graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy in 2015. He is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association. His pro bono legal service to the community includes his work with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services as a volunteer attorney.

Ben’s experience comes from multiple practice areas of complex litigation and prior work as in-house counsel. He also spent time as a prosecutor for the City of Chicago. Throughout his career, Ben has written complaints, motions, and briefs up to the appellate level. He has advocated for clients by arguing in the courtroom, attending depositions, and negotiating with opposing counsel at settlement and discovery conferences. Ben is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
