Courtney McKeen is an associate in The Cook Group’s Chicago office. Her practice focuses primarily on toxic tort litigation. Prior to joining The Cook Group, Courtney was an Assistant Public Defender for the Alaska Public Defender Agency. Courtney provided high quality legal representation to underserved communities in rural Alaska handling felony and misdemeanor cases from inception to trial.

Courtney received her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University Law School in 2021. While attending law school, she was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic where she represented indigent clients in Louisiana state courts.

Courtney graduated cum laude from Florida State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs. She also holds a Master of Arts from Florida State University in International Affairs.

Courtney is admitted to practice in Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
