Jackie W. Miller, a partner in The Cook Group’s Chicago office, is an experienced litigator primarily focusing upon asbestos and environmental matters. She has twenty years’ experience defending, strategizing and supervising complex litigation. Her vast litigation experience includes acting as National, Regional and local counsel for numerous product manufacturers, contractors, distributors and premises defendants in Illinois as well as across the country, and coordinating the product liability defense of various clients in several states, including Illinois, St. Louis, Missouri, Texas, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Alabama, New York, Wisconsin, Indiana and more.
Jackie assists clients with pre-trial, resolution and post-trial plans. She formulates both local and global strategies for all facets of litigation. She has successfully defended and managed thousands of claims brought against manufacturers of a variety of different products. She is committed to and has a long standing history of favorable client relationships.
Her background includes defending clients against a range of complex claims involving personal injury, product liability, premises liability, insurance defense litigation and civil rights matters.
Jackie was also a professor at Harper College, where she taught Environmental Law from 2001 to 2005.
