Ms. Hudgens is a Partner in our Chicago office, where her practice primarily focuses on product liability, mass tort, environmental, and toxic tort defense. Ms. Hudgens also handles commercial transactions and litigation advising both startups and established corporations on a wide variety of business matters. She also handles criminal defense along with wills, estate, and probate matters and has experience representing clients against claims alleging construction defect.

A skilled and savvy litigator, Ms. Hudgens has been named an Illinois Rising Star for five consecutive years and is experienced in creating, coordinating and implementing innovative defense strategies for a myriad of corporate defendants across the United States in her various roles as National, Regional and/or Local counsel. Licensed in three states and Federal Court, Ms. Hudgens provides a unique and expansive representation for both local and national clients. Her familiarity and experience in known judicial hell holes extends beyond Illinois and Missouri, as Meredith has successfully resolved and settled large group and individual cases with both large and small Plaintiff firms across the country.

She has argued and won several Motions for Summary Judgments and Motions to Dismiss in both Cook and Madison County, St. Louis, Milwaukee and the Southern District of Illinois. She has also helped secure favorable verdicts in St. Louis and Baltimore, Maryland. She prides herself in providing efficient legal services and understanding that litigation is constantly evolving and so should her law practice.

Ms. Hudgens is a partner who invests in her clients. She stays late and works the hours that gets the job done and then some. She will be able to devote as much time as necessary to ensure her clients are well represented. She also cares about her community. Meredith co-founded Just City Legal Clinic, that provides free legal advice for those who do not have access and or cannot afford to speak with an attorney.
