Patricia Maher is a Partner in The Cook Group’s New York Office. Patricia is litigator with broad experience in the defense of toxic tort, product liability, environmental litigation and complex civil litigation. Patricia has represented product and equipment manufacturers, suppliers and premises owners in claims involving commercial plants, shipyards, military aircraft and submarines, powerhouses, mines, schools and buildings.
She is experienced in defending U.S. government contractors and managing the impact of national security related federal regulations on discovery. Patricia has worked with her corporate clients to develop information as to their historical product lines and acquisitions in order to present liability-limiting positions. Patricia has prepared asbestos-related lawsuits for trial including a recent case to a defense verdict.
Prior to joining The Cook Group, Patricia was part of the General Liability and Toxic Tort, Environmental & Energy Practices of national defense firms and worked in New York and London.
