Bané Touré

Associate

Bané Touré is an Associate Attorney at The Cook Group, where she contributes to complex litigation and regulatory matters with a focus on client advocacy and legal strategy. She brings a multidisciplinary background shaped by experience in dispute resolution, insurance law and policy analysis.

Prior to joining the firm, Bané served in roles that included legal research, contract negotiation, compliance analysis and regulatory risk assessment. Her work has encompassed matters involving artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies. She has also supported both domestic and international initiatives, including contributing to a United Nations report on global workplace equity, conducting legal research in human rights and assisting with constitutional law research projects.

Bané earned her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where she was recognized for clinical excellence and held leadership roles in the Student Bar Association and Black Law Students Association. Bané is admitted to the New York State Bar and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Film from Lawrence University.

As a Senegalese American, she speaks both Wolof and French.
