Associate

Elizabeth House is an Associate Attorney in The Cook Group’s California office, where her practice focuses on intellectual property, technology, and complex litigation matters. She brings a global and interdisciplinary perspective to her work, informed by diverse legal experience and a strong foundation in media and entertainment law.

Elizabeth earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she was awarded the Intellectual Property Certificate and served as Executive Editor of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal. While in law school, she also held leadership roles in the Music and Art Law Society, the Law and Political Economy Society, and the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. She was a featured speaker at the Blockchain Technology and the Law Symposium and a member of the leadership team for the “From Stages to Stadiums” Conference.

Her legal experience includes trademark research and application filing, client advising in a law clinic setting, and international legal externships in Rome and Prague, where she focused on trademark risk analysis and evolving intellectual property regulations in the European Union.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from the University of San Francisco, where she graduated summa cum laude with minors in Theater and French Studies. She is conversational in French and brings creative and analytical strengths to her legal work, drawing on a background in the arts, writing, and public speaking.
