Thomas G. Grace is Of Counsel in The Cook Group’s Chicago office. Tom is a litigation attorney whose practice encompasses product liability and toxic torts, commercial disputes, business torts and employee disloyalty, insurance coverage and tender, and civil appeals. Tom has defended a variety of manufacturers and other businesses, including a national retailer, an outdoor power equipment company, a fireplace manufacturer, and a tool rental company.
Tom has represented both closely held and publicly traded companies, doing so efficiently and effectively. He understands the needs and the demands of a sophisticated legal department managing a large volume of litigation, as well as a manager of a family-owned business dealing with litigation that could end the company. He leverages the depth of his experience to benefit his clients, minimizing the risk and cost associated with complex litigation.
Thomas earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of Lead Articles for the DePaul Business Law Journal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Distinction from Kenyon College.
He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Nevada, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and is a member of the Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar.
