Thomas J. Wahl is an associate attorney with The Cook Group’s St. Louis, Missouri office. He excels in representing clients in toxic torts, products liability, premises liability, and various general liability lawsuits. He achieves success in his practice by being detail-oriented, passionate, and honest.
Tom has handled a wide variety of lawsuits at both the State and Federal level from start to finish, which include motor vehicle accident, premises liability, wrongful death, labor & employment, nuisance & housing, civil rights, and property damage lawsuits. In addition, he has served as first-chair and second-chair in jury trials and has performed appellate work.
Prior to joining The Cook Group, Tom worked for the City of St. Louis Legal Department for several years, where he gained valuable litigation experience by frequently representing the City of St. Louis and its employees in depositions, evidentiary hearings, and trials.
Tom earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, IL. Before attending law school, Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. He achieved the honor of being named on the Dean’s List at both universities.
Tom was raised in South St. Louis City, where he continues to live. He attended CBC High School, Class of ‘08. In addition, Tom is a big sports fan and volunteers with the local Ancient Order of Hibernians - Fr. Tim Dempsey Division.
