Philadelphia, PA – November 18, 2024 – The Cook Group is pleased to announce the addition of Liza Stagliano to our team of attorneys as the Managing Partner in our Philadelphia office. Ms. Stagliano brings undeniable decades of experience and a proven record in several practice areas, including Asbestos Litigation, Class Action & Mass Tort, Life Sciences, Products Liability, Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation and Talc Litigation.

Throughout her career, Ms. Stagliano has represented a diverse clientele, from Fortune 500 companies to independent owner-operators. She is known for her aggressive litigation style and her ability to successfully manage cases in both federal and state courts, including areas that are particularly challenging for defendants.
Ms. Stagliano earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Widener University in 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from St. Joseph’s University, obtained in 1998. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Before joining The Cook Group, Ms. Stagliano played an integral role defending clients in Toxic Tort & Environmental Litigation, managing complex environmental and toxic tort cases, including those involving asbestos, mold, lead paint, and other hazardous materials. She has been widely recognized for her work on significant environmental contamination and toxic waste site cases across the United States.
