Amanda Lu Shi is an associate in The Cook Group’s New York City office. Her practice focuses on litigation and advocacy, with experience representing a diverse range of individual and corporate clients in complex legal matters.

Amanda has appeared regularly in court, representing clients in housing and commercial litigation matters across New York. Her background includes drafting and arguing motions, negotiating settlements, and managing high-volume caseloads. She has also provided representation in financial restructuring and bankruptcy-related matters, with a particular focus on consumer protection and advocacy.

Amanda has participated in mediation both in private practice and through the federal court system, gaining experience in alternative dispute resolution and assisting with the preparation and administration of mediation proceedings.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as Senior Articles Editor of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal. Her published work explored the intersection of intellectual property law and digital content creation. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.

She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
