Jennie Simons is an experienced litigation attorney in The Cook Group’s St. Louis office, focusing on personal injury, product liability, toxic tort, insurance defense, and complex civil litigation. She has successfully managed a diverse caseload, representing clients in high-exposure cases from pre-suit through trial. Her extensive experience includes conducting depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial advocacy.
Throughout her career, Jennie has provided legal counsel to individuals, businesses, and insurers, advising on litigation strategy, case assessments, and risk management. She has appeared before both state and federal courts and has successfully resolved cases through mediation, arbitration, and jury trials. She has also worked extensively on toxic tort and product liability matters, including asbestos, talc, benzene, and medical malpractice defense.
Jennie earned her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in the top 10 percent of her class. She was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Board and a national mock trial champion. She holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Kansas, where she graduated magna cum laude.
Jennie is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, and Florida, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois. At The Cook Group, she applies her broad litigation experience to deliver strong advocacy and strategic legal solutions for her clients.
