Jillian Henschen is an associate attorney at The Cook Group's Chicago office. She focuses her practice on Products Liability, drawing on her extensive experience in litigation and trial preparation.
Jillian earned her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she was awarded the Mary Jane Vincent Frisby Memorial Scholarship. During her law school tenure, she served as a law clerk, managing a caseload that ranged from initial intake to trial proceedings. She also gained valuable experience as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) with Kids' Voice of Indiana, advocating for the best interests of children in abuse, neglect, and custody cases. Additionally, she worked as a music law clerk for MOKB Presents, reviewing contracts for events throughout Indiana.
Jillian also actively participated in the Honorable Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition, where she honed her skills in appellate advocacy by crafting briefs and presenting arguments before panels of justices. She was involved in leadership roles with the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Student Bar Association during her time in law school.
Jillian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington, with minors in Sociology and Psychology. In her spare time, she specializes in portrait drawing, a creative pursuit that allows her to combine her analytical skills with artistic expression.
