Mackenzie Jarva is an associate attorney in The Cook Group’s St. Louis office. Her practice is grounded in a strong foundation of legal research, health law, and intellectual property, with a focus on delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented advocacy to clients across a range of complex matters.
Mackenzie earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she completed dual concentrations in Health Law and Intellectual Property. During law school, she earned a Law Office Technology Certification and was also a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship, awarded for academic achievement and leadership potential.
Prior to joining The Cook Group, Mackenzie developed experience in legal and regulatory compliance, healthcare policy research, academic legal writing, and customer-focused support roles in both academic and technical environments. She has conducted in-depth research on a wide range of issues, from Medicaid law to the rule against perpetuities, and has supported faculty scholarship and corporate legal teams alike.
Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from the University of Utah. She also studied abroad at Seoul National University in South Korea, where she pursued coursework in Art History through a social media scholarship program.
She is admitted to practice law in the state of Missouri.
