Mark Sampson is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office. His practice focuses on representation of premises owners and manufacturers in toxic tort, products liability, environmental, and commercial matters. He has served as national and regional counsel for multiple Fortune 500 companies in asbestos litigation in jurisdictions nationwide.
Mr. Sampson has extensive experience in defending cases from inception to trial, and has successfully negotiated settlements in dozens/hundreds of cases. and in development and implementation of both novel defenses and global defense strategies, including formulating discovery and expert witness strategies, as well as identifying and developing corporate representative witnesses. He has extensive experience deposing fact and expert witnesses in complex, high stakes matters.
Mr. Sampson graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2008, where he was a member of the Moot Court Appellate Board and Moot Court Trial Team. Mr. Sampson attended the University of Nebraska where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2005.
