Before joining The Cook Group, Sidney worked at a boutique litigation firm, focusing on employment and labor disputes, where they successfully negotiated a substantial settlement on behalf of immigrant worker plaintiffs—an achievement they are particularly proud of. Sidney also gained valuable experience in corporate finance and capital markets at a major law firm, where they advised international corporate clients on SEC compliance and corporate transactions. This experience confirmed Sidney’s passion for litigation and their desire to work directly with clients facing complex legal challenges.
Sidney graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law, where they received a Merit-based Scholarship and appeared on the Dean’s Listmultiple times. During law school, Sidney was dedicated to community service, defending indigent clients in immigration and criminal proceedings through internships with public defenders' offices and impact litigation organizations. Sidney also holds a B.A. in Political Science, with minors in Physics and German, from Colorado College, where they were a Colorado College Trustee Scholar.
Sidney is known for their aggressive litigation style and their commitment to authentic client relationships, ensuring that every client’s voice is heard. Outside of the office, Sidney enjoys watching films, writing poetry, discussing philosophy, and clay sculpting.
